Overview
The OneDrive integration automatically archives receipt images and expense documents from Smartbills to your Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint document library. Files are organized in configurable folder structures with support for retention policies.Key Features
Prerequisites
- Microsoft 365 account (personal or business)
- Smartbills Business plan or higher
- OneDrive storage available
Setup

Open the Apps Marketplace
In Smartbills, go to Settings > Apps and search for OneDrive.

Connect Your Account
Click Connect and sign in with your Microsoft account. Authorize Smartbills to manage files.

Choose Destination
Select OneDrive (personal) or a SharePoint document library as the destination.

Configure Folder Structure
Set up folder naming conventions and hierarchy.

Set Sync Preferences
Configure when files are archived and in what format.

Files not appearing in OneDrive
Files not appearing in OneDrive
Check the integration status in Settings > Apps > OneDrive. Verify the destination folder exists and has not been renamed or moved.
Authentication expired
Authentication expired
Microsoft tokens expire periodically. Go to integration settings and click Reconnect.
Storage quota full
Storage quota full
Check your OneDrive or SharePoint storage quota. Free up space or contact your Microsoft 365 admin.
Retention policy conflicts
Retention policy conflicts
If files are being deleted or moved unexpectedly, check your Microsoft 365 retention policies. Smartbills does not override existing retention rules.
