Step-by-Step Process
Go to Login Page
Click Forgot Password
Enter Your Email
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Click Send Reset Link
- You’ll see a confirmation message
Check Your Email
- Open your email inbox
- Look for an email from Smartbills ([email protected])
- Subject: “Reset Your Smartbills Password”
- Email should arrive within 2-3 minutes
Click Reset Link
- Open the email
- Click the Reset Password button or link
- You’ll be taken to the password reset page
Create New Password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password (type it again)
- Click Reset Password
Login with New Password
- You’ll be redirected to the login page
- Enter your email and new password
- Click Sign In

- Find the password reset email from Smartbills

- Enter your new password twice
- Tap Reset Password

- Return to the Smartbills app
- Login with your new password

- Find the Smartbills password reset email

- Browser opens with reset form

Password Requirements

- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Special characters (!@#$%^&*)

- Be the same as your email address
- Be a commonly used password (e.g., “password123”)
- Be one of your last 5 passwords
- Contain only sequential characters (e.g., “12345678”)
- Contain your name or company name
Password Strength Indicator
When creating your new password, you’ll see a strength indicator:- 🔴 Weak - Does not meet requirements
- 🟡 Fair - Meets minimum requirements
- 🟢 Good - Strong password
- 🟢 Excellent - Very strong password

- Wait a few minutes - Emails can take 2-5 minutes
- Correct email - Ensure you entered the right email address
- Email filters - Check if emails from smartbills.io are blocked
