Navigate to Smartbills
Go to app.smartbills.io

Enter Credentials
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- (Optional) Check Remember me to stay logged in

Click the Sign In button

Email & Password:
- Enter your email

- Tap Sign In
- Sign in with Apple (faster with Face ID/Touch ID)
- Sign in with Google

After first login, you’ll be prompted to enable Face ID or Touch ID for faster future loginsTap Enable to use biometric authentication

Launch Smartbills
Tap the Smartbills app icon

Sign In
Email & Password:
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Tap Sign In
- Continue with Google (one-tap sign in)

Enable Fingerprint (Optional)
Enable fingerprint authentication for quick access:
- Tap Enable Fingerprint
- Authenticate with your fingerprint
- Future logins will use fingerprint
Biometric Authentication
Set Up Biometric Login
For faster, more secure access:- iOS (Face ID / Touch ID)
- Android (Fingerprint)
Initial Setup:
- Login with email and password
- When prompted, tap Enable Face ID or Enable Touch ID
- Authenticate to confirm
- Go to Settings → Security
- Toggle on Face ID or Touch ID
- Authenticate to confirm
- Open the app
- Face ID activates automatically
- Or touch the fingerprint sensor
- Instantly logged in!
Recommended: Enable biometric authentication for the best balance of security and convenience.
Stay Logged In
Web Browser
“Remember Me” Option:- Check this box to stay logged in
- Duration: 30 days
- Works only on trusted devices
- Cleared when you clear browser cookies
Mobile App
Automatic Login:- You stay logged in by default
- App remembers your session
- Use biometrics for quick access
- You can manually log out from Settings
- Sessions last 90 days by default
- Extended to 180 days with biometrics enabled
- Sessions expire if not used for 90 days
Multi-Device Access
You can be logged in on multiple devices simultaneously:- ✅ Web browser(s)
- ✅ iPhone/iPad
- ✅ Android phone/tablet
- ✅ Multiple browsers/devices

If you can’t remember your password:
- Click/tap Forgot Password? on the login screen
- Enter your email address
- Click Send Reset Link
- Check your email for a password reset link
- Click the link and create a new password
- Return to login with your new password

Check these common issues:
- Email typo: Verify email address is correct
- Caps Lock: Password is case-sensitive
- Extra spaces: Remove spaces before/after email or password
- Wrong account: You might have multiple accounts
- Account not verified: Check email for verification link

After 5 failed login attempts, your account is temporarily locked for security.What to do:
- Wait 15 minutes, then try again
- Or click Forgot Password to reset
- Contact [email protected] if urgent
- Enable biometric authentication
- Use a password manager
- Reset password if unsure

If you have 2FA enabled and can’t login:Can’t access 2FA code:
- Use backup codes you saved when setting up 2FA
- Click Use backup code on 2FA screen
- Enter one of your backup codes
- Click I don’t have access to my authenticator
- Verify your identity via email
- Temporarily disable 2FA
- Login and re-enable 2FA

For Enterprise SSO users:Common issues:
- Wrong domain: Ensure you enter your company email domain correctly
- Not configured: SSO must be set up by your IT admin
- Session expired: Try again from the beginning
- Browser issues: Clear cache or try different browser
- Your IT administrator for SSO issues
- Smartbills support for technical problems

You must verify your email before logging in:Steps:
- Check your email inbox for verification email from Smartbills
- Click the verification link
- Return to login page and sign in
- Check spam/junk folder
- Click Resend verification email on login page
- Add [email protected] to your contacts
- Wait a few minutes for email to arrive

iOS/Android app login issues:Try these solutions:
- Update the app to the latest version
- Check internet connection (WiFi or cellular data)
- Force close and reopen the app
- Clear app cache (Android: Settings → Apps → Smartbills → Clear Cache)
- Reinstall the app (your data is safe in the cloud)
- Try web login to verify your credentials work

- At least 12 characters
- Mix of upper/lowercase, numbers, symbols
- Avoid common words or personal info
- Don’t reuse passwords from other sites

- View Recent Activity
- Look for unfamiliar devices or locations
- Revoke access to unknown devices
Recognize Phishing Attempts
If you receive a suspicious email:- Don’t click any links
- Don’t download attachments
- Forward to [email protected]
- Delete the email

Session Management
View Active Sessions
See all devices where you’re logged in:- Go to Settings → Security → Active Sessions
- View list of all active sessions with:
- Device type (Web, iOS, Android)
- Location (approximate)
- Last active time
- IP address
Revoke Sessions
Remove access from specific devices:- Find the session in your active sessions list
- Click/tap Revoke Access or trash icon
- Confirm the action
- That device will be logged out immediately
