## Categories

### Automatic Categorization

Purchases are automatically categorized:

| Category         | Examples                      |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------- |
| 🍔 Restaurants   | Dining out, takeout, delivery |
| 🛒 Groceries     | Supermarkets, food stores     |
| ⛽ Transportation | Gas, rideshare, parking       |
| 🛍️ Shopping     | Retail, online purchases      |
| 🏠 Home          | Hardware, furnishing          |
| 💊 Health        | Pharmacy, medical             |
| 🎬 Entertainment | Movies, games, events         |
| 📱 Subscriptions | Streaming, software           |

### Custom Categories

Create your own categories:

1. Go to **Settings > Categories**
2. Tap **Add Category**
3. Name it and choose an icon
4. Assign receipts manually

## Budgets

### Set a Budget

1. Go to **Budgets**
2. Tap **Create Budget**
3. Choose category or overall
4. Set monthly limit
5. Enable alerts

### Budget Alerts

Get notified when:

* 50% of budget used
* 80% of budget used
* Budget exceeded

3. Choose format
4. Email to yourself

## Privacy

Your spending data is:

* **Private** - Only you can see it
* **Encrypted** - Protected at all times
* **Not sold** - We never sell your data
* **Deletable** - You can delete anytime
